June month Magazine and Yojana :

Special activity in last week of the month ( June ) :
For June, the special activity conducted in the lat week of the month shall focus on the theme of "The many things that children can learn from their own parents and neighbours". June also coincides with the time of the year when their academic learning starts. Children can be encouraged to have conversation with their parents and know from them what all they can learn at home itself from parents. On the 4th week, let children come and express what they discussed. Also, mothers shall be invited to the BB session, and they can tell about the many things that they themselves can teach to the children. This children will get an idea of the learning opportunities within home and neighbourhood, and mothers can also feel encouraged to come to Balabharati and play the role of shikshika and impart to children the skill/values that they cherish and have always wished to find an opportunity to teach it to kids.
News and events from centers:
- A new Balbharati started at Ayappa Nagar, KR Puram (Akshay Nagar Valay, Lingarajapuram Khand).
- NGV Balabharati had summer camp with shlokas, stories, bottle painting activity, yoga and khel.
- In spirit of 'Matru Devo Bhav', Krishna Geet BB kids created special posters as an expression of love and respect towards mothers.
- Suraksha Fairview had a 2 day camp with activities such as Story telling, Swach Bharat, Paper bag making, Yoga, and 'how to fold clothes'.
- DJRC Balabharati shikshika team has an informal meeting ( Baithak ) with Balabharati karyakartas and shared their experiences. All took part in thoughtful discussions surrounding the idea of parents involvement in imparting sanskar to kids.

Upcoming meeting for shikshikas:
The annual "experience sharing and review" meeting of all shikshikas will happen on the week end of July 1st and 2nd. It will be a 2 hour session in the second half of the day ( any one of the days ..either 1st or 2nd , it will be confirmed soon) . The respective Balabharati pramukhs shall inform the shikshika team about the place/time/date for you center. All those who have contributed to the teaching process by taking any activity, as well as those who are interested to take activities in future are invited to attend this baithak. Your nearest Balabharati pramukh will share further information on this.
